The AC Forum Annual Meeting 2025 in Glasgow provided an ideal platform to exchange ideas on the digital transformation of association management. At the impressive Scottish Event Campus (SEC), association experts from all over Europe met to discuss current challenges and solutions.

CRM as the key to digitalization

One of the main topics of discussion was the integration of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems into the existing association landscape. While many associations have already recognized the need for professional membership management and are implementing CRM systems, a number of challenges remain: Integration with existing processes and systems is often more complex than initially anticipated. In particular, integration with existing communication channels and event management tools requires careful planning and expertise.

The exchange between colleagues during the meeting provided deep insights into best practices:
